Maura Healey Proposes Tax Increases, Another $100 Million In Spending

Gov. Maura Healey is renewing a push to let cities and towns raise meals and lodging taxes and add up to a 5% surcharge on motor vehicle excise bills, while also seeking another $100 million in education spending.
