A pair of Republican governors in New England overwhelmingly won their re-election bids this year.
Governors Chris Sununu of New Hampshire and Phil Scott of Vermont had no problem winning their races. With the wins, they will serve another two years.
After flipping a Massachusetts Senate seat in May, Susan Moran (D-Falmouth) held onto her seat in the Plymouth & Barnstable district in the November general election.
Moran topped Bourne attorney Jay McMahon, receiving 56 percent of the vote to his 44 percent. In all, Moran got 55,560 votes and McMahon got 43,573. The first time they ran against each other in the special election, Moran also won the race 56.2 percent to 43.7 percent.
