Sudbury's public library is organizing a "Family Pride Day," an event for all ages, on Sunday, June 11.
The description for the event says there will be "food and ice cream trucks, crafts, bubbles, book fair, author visits and rotating performances on a center stage!"
State Senator Anne Gobi (D-Spencer) is leaving her position later in June to become the rural affairs director in Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey's administration.
On the Democratic side, state Representative Jon Zlotnik (D-Worcester) is running for the post. On the Republican side, another state legislator will run.
