Senate President:  Might Be Time For Legislature To Get Involved With Massachusetts State Police Scandals

Legislative hearings or changes in policy could be in order to try to deal with the various Massachusetts State Police scandals, the president of the Massachusetts Senate said.

Senate President Harriette Chandler (D-Worcester) acknowledged the continuing scandals among the State Police that started in the fall of 2017.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has "doubled down" on his call for increased government regulation of Facebook, Recode reports, teasing an interview with Cook that aired Friday, April 6 on MSNBC.

Cook had already publicly called for a government crackdown on Facebook once before, telling an audience in Beijing, according to Bloomberg News, "I think that this certain situation is so dire and has become so large that probably some well-crafted regulation is necessary."
