There was an uptick in the number of domestic violence-related homicides that occurred in Massachusetts last year.
There were 26 of these homicides in Massachusetts in 2022, according to the Eagle-Tribune. That's more than 40 percent higher than in the previous year; the state had 15 domestic violence-related homicides in 2021.
