Sales Tax Holiday in Massachusetts This Summer?  Or Not?

The "grand bargain" law signed by Governor Charlie Baker last week makes a summer sales tax holiday a permanent annual fixture on the calendars of shoppers and business owners in Massachusetts.

Two Men from Northern New England Driving To Siberia in Three-Wheel Car

A man from Maine and a man from New Hampshire, both 25, are planning to drive a three-wheel Reliant from England to Siberia in a three-wheel car with a tiny engine.

The men are taking place in the Mongol Rally, a wacky expedition sponsored by a group in England called The Adventurists. The journey begins in the Czech Republic and ends in Siberia. Along the way the men plan to drive through 16 countries, some of them along the old Silk Road, according to the Bangor Daily News.
