Rabid Beaver Attacks Man Swimming In Connecticut River

A beaver with rabies bit a man in the arm and chest while the man was swimming in the Connecticut River, local authorities said.

The unidentified man was swimming Sunday evening, May 28 in Hatfield, a town of about 3,300 in western Massachusetts when the attack took place, according to the Daily Hampshire Gazette.
