Two‑thirds of Massachusetts parents support the proposed "bell-to-bell" cellphone ban in public schools, but a significant number say they want a clear way to contact their children during the school day, according to a new poll.
Students at Attleboro High School have been required since 2024 to give up their cell phones during academic time. The phones stay in a pouch while students are in class, and they have access to the devices during lunch breaks, before and after school, and between classes.
