Former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is heading to Provincetown on Sunday, Aug. 2 for a two-hour fundraiser supporting Gov. Maura Healey's reelection campaign.
The Gifford House Inn on July 8 posted on Facebook announcing the event, which is slated to begin at 3 p.m.
"Two powerhouse voices. One incredible afternoon," the Inn wrote.
The suggested contributions are $2,500 for hosts, $1,000 for co-hosts, $500 for benefactors, $250 for attendees, and $100 for supporters.
Supporter and attendee tickets are sold out, according to the donation page. Hosts listed include celebrity planner Bryan Rafanelli and his husband Mark Walsh, Sen. Julian Cyr and Rep. Hadley Luddy.
Buttigieg ran for president in 2020, winning the most delegates among Democrats in the Iowa caucuses. He dropped out in March 2020 and later joined Joe Biden's Cabinet. He is the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana.
Buttigieg has also been to the presidential proving ground of New Hampshire a handful of times in recent months, raising money for Democratic Party candidates
