Elective abortion after 24 weeks of pregnancy will no longer be legal in New Hampshire as of the end of this week.
The state's Republican governor signed a budget in June 2021 that prohibits most abortions that take place after 24 weeks of pregnancy; the exception is in cases to protect the life of the mother or her physical health, according to WMUR.
