Vermont started allowing prisoners in the state to receive the booster shot against coronavirus in early December, and many people have capitalized.
There are 1,283 people incarcerated in Vermont's correctional facilities, and 75 percent of them are vaccinated against coronavirus. Of those 75 percent, 89 percent are eligible for a booster shot — and 57 percent of them have received the booster shot already.
