BOSTON — The Senate Ways and Means Committee on Thursday unanimously approved a $41.42 billion fiscal year 2019 budget proposal, touting the spending plan's "robust and critical investments" in education, an "innovative approach to drug pricing," and a focus on obstacles to growth.

12-Year-Old Cell-Phone-Talking Bicyclist Crashes Into Back of Truck

A 12-year-old girl riding her bike on the sidewalk while talking on a cell phone was injured when she lost control of the bike, swerved into the street, and struck the back of a dump truck, getting run over by the landscaping trailer the truck was towing.

The girl was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities told The Union Leader.
