Several More Massachusetts Towns Might Institute Grocery Store Bag Fees Soon

Several Massachusetts towns might institute grocery bag fees soon, if the Massachusetts legislature permits it. 

State legislators are considering bills that would allow the towns of Acton, Concord, Fairhaven, Lincoln, and Sudbury to establish check-out bag fees. The bill for Concord allows a 15 cents or higher fee per bag. The rest allow 10 cents or higher. Any fee will be kept by the retailer.
