Gun owners who oppose a firearms law enacted in Massachusetts last month hope to persuade the state's voters to repeal it in November 2026.
Jim Wallace, executive director of Gun Owners' Action League, said his organization has filed a petition seeking a referendum on the law, which is the first step to getting it on the ballot.
