The Marshfield Fair will be back this year, organizers say.
The fair normally takes place in August. The fair's board of directors voted this week to hold it once again this year, the Marshfield Fair announced on its Facebook page. This comes after the board cancelled the fair last year in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
A member of the Massachusetts Governor's Council plans to run for state auditor next year.
Eileen Duff of Gloucester, a Democrat who was first elected the Governor's Council in 2012, announced she will run for the position hours after incumbent Suzanne Bump announced she won't seek re-election. Bump, a Democrat, was first elected the post in 2010.
