Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse will not seek re-election next year.
Morse, 31, has served as the city's mayor since 2012. He unsuccessfully challenged U.S. Representative Richard Neal (D-Springfield) in the Democratic primary in September in the First Congressional District in western Massachusetts earlier this year.
