The Boston Red Sox plan to begin spring training this month, according to the team's web site. Pitchers and catchers are supposed to report to spring training on Wednesday, February 14. The rest of the team follows suit on Monday, February 19.
The team's first spring training game is scheduled for Friday, February 23 at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida, against the Northeastern Huskies (1:05 p.m. start time).
