Clinton explores wooing GOP voters repelled by Trump

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) — Hillary Clinton is looking for ways to woo Republicans turned off by Donald Trump as the brash billionaire's remaining GOP rivals bow out of the race, clearing his path to the presidential nomination.

The Democratic front-runner's campaign believes Trump's historically high unfavorable ratings and penchant for controversy may be enough to persuade a slice of GOP voters to get behind her bid, in much the same way so-called Reagan Democrats sided with the Republican president in the 1980s.

Commencement speakers set to take stage in college-rich Massachusetts

STATE HOUSE — Gov. Charlie Baker is slated to deliver six commencement speeches this year, according to communications from various universities, including an address at Union College in Schenectady, N.Y., where his son is graduating.

Other speakers preparing to deliver commencement addresses in Massachusetts as this academic year comes to a close include U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito, Attorney General Maura Healey, First Lady Lauren Baker, Boston Mayor Martin Walsh, and Chief Justice Ralph Gants.
