Channel 5 Reporter Stabbed In Boston While Working

A WCVB-TV Channel 5 reporter got stabbed on the job in Copley Square at about 9:05 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, Ted Wayman, got stabbed by Cirilo Aldana-Peraedes, a 44-year-old Boston resident, in the left forearm, police said.  The attack caused a severe laceration that sent Wayman to the hospital. Wayman's injuries are non-life-threatening, according to a press release from the Boston Police Department. The incident occurred in the area of Dartmouth Street and Boylston Street in Boston.
