Cambridge Effectively Decriminalizes Magic Mushrooms

The War on Drugs just got a little smaller in Cambridge, Massachusetts this week. On Monday, the city council voted 8-1 in favor of making arrests for entheogenic plants "amongst the lowest law enforcement priority" and calling on the Middlesex County District Attorney to stop prosecutions regarding such hallucinogens. As a result, the measure all but decriminalizes mushrooms, cacti, and ayahuasca in the city.
