A 40-year-old man recently hospitalized for hearing voices shot and killed at least 16 people in Lewiston, Maine on Wednesday night.
Police were still looking for the suspect, Robert Card, as of 8 a.m. Thursday, October 26 according to multiple news reports, including one from the Lewiston Sun Journal. Police in Lewiston have asked residents to shelter in place during the manhunt.
After pausing the campaign due to a shortage of drivers, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority officials are hopeful they can revive an effort to overhaul and expand the bus network by the end of next year.
