Amy Carnevale Elected As Massachusetts Republican Party Chairman Over Jim Lyons

The Massachusetts Republican Party has a new chairman. State committeewoman and lobbyist Amy Carnevale of Marblehead defeated Jim Lyons in the chairman race on Tuesday night. Carnevale defeated Lyons 37-34; only state committee members were able to vote in the race. Lyons had served as the chairman of the party since 2019.
