Three counselors at a public middle school in Amherst have been put on administrative leave fo not affirming gender transitioning and for bringing prayer into the school, school officials said.
The counselors are also accused of not supporting students who reported being bullied and of addressing students who identify as transgender by their given name and by the gender that corresponds with their biological sex.
