Working for Marijuana Business ‘A Little More Laid Back,’ Employee Says

A New Bedford woman who sold fruits and vegetables to hotels and restaurants finds her new job as a "budtender" at a Fall River marijuana store more to her liking.

"I was really good at my job. I could sit in front of a computer and answer phones all day. The problem for me was the structure of it all. Here it's a little bit more laid back," the New Bedford resident said, according to the Fall River Herald News.

High-Stakes Bingo Coming To Martha’s Vineyard

Members of the Wampanoag tribe on Martha's Vineyard are planning to start construction of a 10,000-square-foot bingo parlor with 250 electronic gaming machines, according to The Cape Cod Times.

The site is on tribal trust land at 1 Black Brook Road in the town of Aquinnah (which was known until 1997 as the town of Gay Head). It's about a 3-mile drive from the town's most famous place, Gay Head Lighthouse and the cliffs of Gay Head.
