Woman Found With Heroin in Pocket Says Pants Aren’t Hers

A 43-year-old woman who came into a courthouse in Bridgeport, Connecticut with a bulge in her pocket that turned out to be heroin told police that she had accidentally put on someone else's pants. But she said she didn't know whose pants they were.

Mayor’s Police Driver Was Going 87 — Or Even 100

A police detective who drives the mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut around the city and even around the state when he's campaigning for governor was stopped by a Connecticut state trooper for going 87 miles per hour on an interstate highway. A reporter said the detective at one point was actually driving 100 miles per hour; he got off with a warning.
