With Pence a favorite, Trump postpones naming running mate

WASHINGTON (AP) — Donald Trump abruptly postponed plans to announce his vice presidential pick after an attack left scores dead in Nice, France, a decision that raised questions about Trump's selection process.
The presumptive GOP nominee had planned to introduce his running mate at a news conference Friday morning in New York, but said on Twitter Thursday evening that he would be postponing the event "in light of the horrible attack."
