‘White People Are Fragile,’ Says High School Student Activist

The student at South Burlington High School in Vermont is leading the charge against the school's Rebels nickname, which has become a major political conflict in the city of about 19,000 people. Opponents of changing the nickname are circulating a photo of the student, who is black, giving a presentation in class last year on the psychological concept of "white fragility."
