The owner of the Washington Redskins has announced the team is planning "to undergo a thorough review of the team's name" — which is setting expectations of a change.

Dan Snyder, owner of the National Football League team, has long said he would never change the team's name, which has withstood attacks from people who say it belittles American Indians — as well as drawing support from people who say it pays honor to them.

A lot more people are expected to vote absentee in Vermont this year than in prior elections.

The state's primary voting begins on August 11 but already, there have been many people asking for early voting ballots. As of June 29, 15,663 had made the request. That's a massive uptick when compared to the 2,247 requests at the same point in 2018, as VTDigger reports.
