Walk-Up Coronavirus Vaccines Available At Select MBTA Commuter Rail Stations This Week

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority plans to use some of its commuter rail trains to create walk-up coronavirus vaccination stations in various cities across the state this week.

The T plans to offer the one-and-done Johnson & Johnson vaccine to those who are 18 or older and the Pfizer vaccine to anyone older than 12 years old; it will offer the second Pfizer dose at the same location three weeks later, according to Boston.com.

The Cape Cod Baseball League's schedule shows that the first games of the week are set to take place on Sunday, June 20, 2021, kicking off the league's first season since 2019. There was no 2020 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The league primarily consists of Division 1 college baseball players, many of whom get drafted by Major League Baseball teams when they are older. Examples of past and present Boston Red Sox players who played in the Cape league over the years include Dustin Pedroia, Jacoby Ellsbury, and Chris Sale.
