Victims’ Rights Constitutional Amendment Proposed in New Hampshire

One sexual assault victim said she wasn't notified of key hearings, wasn't told she could speak in court, and wasn't told her attacker had been released until eight days after it happened. Somali Maine Cop Arrested At Concert Claims Racial Profiling

The 24-year-old woman is the first Somali police officer in Maine — Portland, as it happens. She was at a concert at a club in Worcester when, according to club staff and police, she assaulted several people there, grabbed the head of a security guard, refused to leave when asked, let go a profanity-laced tirade against staff, resisted arrest, questioned the police officers' training, and told onlookers that she was a victim of racial profiling.
