A lot more people are expected to vote absentee in Vermont this year than in prior elections.
The state's primary voting begins on August 11 but already, there have been many people asking for early voting ballots. As of June 29, 15,663 had made the request. That's a massive uptick when compared to the 2,247 requests at the same point in 2018, as VTDigger reports.
