The unemployment rate in Vermont is now below 3 percent.
The seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate for the state as of May 2021 was 2.6 percent, according to Vermont Business Magazine. That's a lot lower than it was at the same time last year: 9.3 percent due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Just because someone is fully vaccinated against coronavirus, it doesn't mean that person won't get the virus.
This has happened nearly 4,000 times so far this year in Massachusetts alone, as Patch.com reports. Patch reported that as of the end of last week, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health says there have been at least 3,791 breakthrough cases of COVID-19.
