Vermont Not Releasing Town-By-Town Coronavirus Cases

When it comes to knowing how many people have coronavirus and where, Vermont state officials are withholding certain details similar to the way Massachusetts officials did earlier this month.

As VTDigger reports, the state is only releasing its coronavirus infections data by county, not town by town as neighboring New England states Massachusetts and New Hampshire have been doing as of late.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered all public and private schools in the state closed through the end of the school year.

The governor's announcement during a press conference Tuesday, April 21 had been hinted at in recent days.
