Vermont License Plate Triggers Attack In Maine, Police Say

A man driving in downtown Portland, Maine was attacked by a homeless man and woman because he had Vermont license plates, police said.

A 41-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman yelled at the man that he shouldn't be in Maine "before attacking him and then damaging his car," Portland police said in a written statement.

Keep in mind that Catholic bishops have a long history of neither "airing their dirty laundry" nor disclosing their differences. Unity and comity are valued highly.
