Over the weekend, the state of Vermont had positive news on the coronavirus front.
State officials reported that there haven't been any coronavirus deaths in the state for 30 days straight. There hasn't been a reported coronavirus death in the Green Mountain State since June 16, as Boston 25 reports. That's the longest streak of any state in the country.
In the state of Maine, there could soon be a new area code.
Earlier this month, Maine's Public Utilities Commission began to investigate the number of unused 207 area code numbers to see if they need another one. It found that the area code is "exhausted," according to Bangor Daily News.
