Vermont Allowing Restaurants To Sell Alcohol To-Go
Now that restaurants and bars are takeout-only in Vermont, those businesses can now sell alcohol as a part of a takeout order.
This comes as Vermont Governor Phil Scott signed an order on Thursday, March 19 to try to help restaurants affected by the ban on dine-in services, according to MyNBC5. The alcohol — whether it is beer, wine or spirits — must be purchased with a meal. There is also a limit on the time a bar or restaurant is allowed to deliver alcohol: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m..
