An 18-year-old Merrimack, New Hampshire resident has been charged with theft by deception by police, who say he advertised a $250 pair of sneakers online and accepted payment from an unidentified female but then switched the sneakers in the box to a much cheaper pair. When she tried to reach him, he blocked all her calls, police say.
