U.S. Supreme Court Says City of Boston Violated First Amendment By Not Flying Christian Flag Outside City Hall

Boston violated a Christian group's First Amendment rights by refusing to fly a flag with a cross on it while holding events at city hall, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on Monday.

The court ruled 9-0 that the rejection of Camp Constitution's request to fly the flag for one hour on various dates in 2017 to celebrate the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution in September 1787 was unconstitutional.
