U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra was scheduled appear in Boston on Friday, but that will not happen.
He was scheduled to join U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Hyde Park) and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu at the Codman Square Health Center on the afternoon of Friday, August 5 to discuss "their work to address the Black maternal health crisis and protect reproductive rights following the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health," according to a press release from Pressley's office on Wednesday, August 3.
