U.S.-Canada Border Shutdown Could Last Another Month

Non-essential travel between the United States and Canada could be delayed at least another month.

Canada, which shares borders with three New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont), is hoping to extend the border shutdown for non-essential travel to and from the United States for another 30 days, according to the Bellingham Herald in Washington state.

Camping in state parks will not be allowed in Vermont until June 25, The Burlington Free Press reports.

Any reservations made to camp in a state park before June 25 will be cancelled and refunds will be issued in the form of gift certificates.
