Two Massachusetts Golf Courses Plan To Re-Open – Governor Or No Governor

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker says he will not allow golf courses to open back up in the state until at least Monday May 18 because of the coronavirus emergency. 

However, a couple of golf courses plan to open back up, anyway. As Newsweek reports, Kettle Brook Golf Club and Wachusett Country Club plan to reopen. Both courses are run by Cara Cullen and her three brothers.

Hundreds Rally Outside State House Against Massachusetts’s Coronavirus Shutdown

Several hundred people frustrated with Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker's continuing restrictions on work and worship rallied outside the Massachusetts State House in Boston on Monday afternoon.

The event, called Liberty Rally, was organized by conservatives, but also drew some with bread-and-butter complaints against the emergency orders.
