Tsongas made-in-U.S. sneaker bill passes House vote

A proposal to require the Defense Department to buy U.S.-made sneakers has cleared the U.S. House. The provision added by Reps. Bruce Poliquin of Maine and Niki Tsongas of Massachusetts was included in the defense spending bill approved Wednesday night by the House. The proposal still needs to be considered by the full Senate.
