Trump projected to win Massachusetts; Clinton takes Georgia, Virginia

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Donald Trump is projected to win the Massachusetts primary, along with elections in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee, while Democrat Hillary Clinton claimed Super Tuesday victories in the Georgia and Virginia primaries and rival Bernie Sanders carried his home state of Vermont.

Super Tuesday marked the busiest day of the 2016 primaries, with the biggest single-day delegate haul up for grabs. With elections in every region of the country, the contests put a spotlight on candidates' strengths and weaknesses with a broad swath of American voters.

BOSTON – Massachusetts outranks all other states in terms of its "Innovation Economy," which has helped drive the Bay State's standard of living higher than most others, according to the latest assessment from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative in Westborough.

The Bay State's innovative industries mostly thrived over the five years from 2009 to 2014, even as declines in the computer and telecommunications sector held back a better performance, the organization's Innovation Institute reported Tuesday.
