BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump unveiled an "America first" energy plan he said would unleash unfettered production of oil, coal, natural gas and other energy sources to push the United States toward energy independence.

But the speech, delivered at the annual Williston Basin Petroleum Conference in Bismarck, North Dakota, went far beyond energy, as Trump laid out, in his most detail to date, a populist general election pitch against likely rival Hillary Clinton.

(CNSNews.com) – Federal lawyers drew a sharp rebuke for being "intentionally deceptive" during a controversial amnesty case before U.S. District Judge Andrew Hanen in Brownsville, Texas, who ordered them and many more U.S. Justice Department attorneys to attend annual ethics classes.

"The Department of Justice has now admitted making statements that clearly did not match the facts," Hanen said in an order issued last week. "It has admitted that the lawyers who made these statements had knowledge of the truth when they made these misstatements."
