Democratic attorney general Maura Healey essentially ran unopposed for her party's nomination for governor, but she issued a statement on her primary win.
Healey appeared on the primary ballot with state Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz (D-Jamaica Plain), but Chang-Diaz dropped out of the race in June. Healey defeated Chang-Diaz 85 percent to 15 percent, according to Politico.
