Town Council Candidate Bows Out After Saying ‘People in Favor of Guns’ Should Have Been Las Vegas Targets

Ritu Goel, a Democratic candidate for town council in South Windsor, Connecticut, withdrew from the race this week after widespread outrage over her Facebook posting that said:

"Prayers for Las Vegas. People in favor of guns should have been on that strip."
