A trip to Newport, Rhode Island netted plenty of cash for the Harris-Walz campaign.
Vice President Tim Walz attended a fund-raiser in Newport on Thursday, August 15, that raised over $650,000, according to WJAR. The event had more than 300 attendees, the report said, meaning the average attendee donated over $2,000.
