Ten Massachusetts Reactions To Donald Trump Taking Office

President Donald Trump took office for his second term on Monday, January 20.

Trump became the first president since Grover Cleveland in 1893 to serve a non-consecutive term; at 78, he also became the oldest president at inauguration in American history.

Trump ran on securing the southern border; curbing inflation; cutting taxes; curtailing diversity, equity, and inclusion; and ending preferences for transgenderism.

Andrea Campbell Criticizes Walmart For Scaling Back DEI Initiatives

Walmart is rolling back its diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and Massachusetts Democratic Attorney General Andrea Campbell is unhappy about it.

Campbell joined 12 other Democratic state attorneys general in sending a letter to Walmart on Monday, expressing opposition to the company’s decision.

Walmart is making many changes, according to The Associated Press.

The company says it plans to monitor its online third-party marketplace to make sure it doesn’t feature sexual and transgender products for minors, including chest binders for transgender-identifying children.
