Suspect in Teen Girl’s Murder Goes on Trial 37 Years Later

The defendant, now a 57-year-old man, was apparently always a suspect in the case, in which a 16-year-old girl who went running one Friday night in 1980 in East Millinocket, Maine never came home. Prosecutors haven't said why it took them this long to charge the man.
