State Rep Links Massachusetts Legislature’s Support For Abortion With American Revolution

A member of the Democratic leadership of the Massachusetts House of Representatives linked the state's role in starting the American Revolution during the 1770s with the state legislature's current support for legal and publicly funded abortion.

State Representative Kate Hogan (D-Stow), the speaker pro tempore, touted abortion expansion legislation enacted in Massachusetts in recent years, including the ROE Act bill in December 2020 and the more recent abortion bill enacted last week.

Volunteers opened up an old tomb in the western Massachusetts town of Savoy this week and found … nothing.

The piled-stones structure ill that dates from before 1820 was probably once used to store bodies during the winter until the ground thawed and a proper grave could be dug, town officials told The Berkshire Eagle.
